Pull Apart Focaccia Dinner Rolls

Pull Apart Focaccia Dinner Rolls

Prep Time: 1 hour
Full Time: 4-6 hours
Ingredients

1 package Jennie's House Focaccia Mix (contains all dough ingredients)
Water (amount specified on package)
Olive oil (amount specified on package)
Flaky sea salt (included in mix)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, finely grated
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional: 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Transform our focaccia mix into delightful pull-apart dinner rolls - perfect for sharing at the table!

  1. Prepare the Jennie's House Focaccia Mix according to package directions up through the first rise.
  2. Instead of transferring the dough to a baking dish as a single piece, divide it into 8-10 equal portions.
  3. Shape each portion into a ball by gathering the edges toward the center and gently rolling between your palms.
  4. Oil your baking dish as directed on the package.
  5. Arrange the dough balls in the oiled baking dish, placing them side by side so they're just touching.
  6. Cover and let rise for the second time as specified in the package directions.
  7. Once risen, gently dimple the tops of each roll with your fingertips.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt as directed on the package.
  9. Bake according to package directions until golden brown.

For the garlic herb butter:

  1. While the rolls are baking, make the garlic herb butter by melting the butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the grated garlic, chopped parsley, and salt to the melted butter and stir to combine.
  3. Keep warm until rolls are done.

Finishing touch:

  1. As soon as the rolls come out of the oven, brush the tops generously with the garlic herb butter.
  2. For the cheesy version: Immediately sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan over the warm, buttery rolls.
  3. Allow to cool slightly in the pan before serving.

Serve warm, allowing everyone to pull apart their own buttery, herbaceous rolls at the table!
