Transform our focaccia mix into delightful pull-apart dinner rolls - perfect for sharing at the table!
- Prepare the Jennie's House Focaccia Mix according to package directions up through the first rise.
- Instead of transferring the dough to a baking dish as a single piece, divide it into 8-10 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a ball by gathering the edges toward the center and gently rolling between your palms.
- Oil your baking dish as directed on the package.
- Arrange the dough balls in the oiled baking dish, placing them side by side so they're just touching.
- Cover and let rise for the second time as specified in the package directions.
- Once risen, gently dimple the tops of each roll with your fingertips.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt as directed on the package.
- Bake according to package directions until golden brown.
For the garlic herb butter:
- While the rolls are baking, make the garlic herb butter by melting the butter in a small saucepan.
- Add the grated garlic, chopped parsley, and salt to the melted butter and stir to combine.
- Keep warm until rolls are done.
Finishing touch:
- As soon as the rolls come out of the oven, brush the tops generously with the garlic herb butter.
- For the cheesy version: Immediately sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan over the warm, buttery rolls.
- Allow to cool slightly in the pan before serving.
Serve warm, allowing everyone to pull apart their own buttery, herbaceous rolls at the table!
